Art Description

Collage: Paper, Paint and Acrylic on Paper.

In my love of vintage electronics, I created an earlier piece, "Hotel Alpha Mike", which served as the gateway to this piece. During the creation of the former, I began to think of the intended use of radios: to communicate. In our current place in history, communication, if it exists at all, is very one-sided. Things have gotten so adversarial and heated, that the two-party system seems beyond repair. I just wanted to put a mirror to that reality, to show how absurd things are. Everyone's talking, but no one's listening.

Unframed on masonite, offset from wall 2" on wood runners.
