"My art is an exploration of the materials I’m drawn to use in expressing my creativity vision. The journey taken is planned with the expectation of new discoveries. The ultimate goal is to push the boundaries and investigate the possibilities of what could be. I believe there is an inner spiritual navigator that allows me to trust in the discovery and eventual out come of my art. Not all is successful, however, the journey is always worth it." Born in Georgetown, Guyana South America. At the age of nine she came to the United States and settled in Brooklyn New York. At about the age of eleven she had one of her art pieces displayed at Pennsylvania State University. This inspired her to peruse art as a future career. While in high school she attended art classes at the Brooklyn Museum. 1987 thru 1990 she attended Rochester Institute of Technology in Rochester, N. Y. she studied graphic design. She interned at Eric Mower and Associates. In 1990 she attended the School of visual Arts graphics arts program in New York City. In 1991 she married, started a family, and a small business Rich and Well graphics. She worked as the art director of IDD Magazine.
