About The Artwork
I've been inspired by Megalithic Stones since I worked for the Rolling Stones. I would love it if a viewer felt a sense of tranquility and feeling grounded and or being transported to a time and place of a memory of being in such a powerful place. This body of work is my favorite. I made original graphite rubbings of Megalithic Stones in Italy and use those original drawings from which I make copies and it's this paper that I tear, cut and draw & paint back into to build and create the stone structure. I paint the background landscape first.
