ABOUT THE ARTWORK
Undoubtedly the most expressionist series of the artist which expresses there all the interior tumult of the human condition. We are in the chiaroscuro of the soul: whatever the difficulties encountered, humanity will know how to draw on its buried resources. Between Amnesty International's struggles and the notion of resilience dear to Boris Cyrulnik. At the end of the shooting of his feature film Spleen, the director Fabien Carrabin commissioned a canvas inspired by the film in order to incorporate it into his variation of poster projects and his visual communication.

I come from a family of Flemish painters. When I was little, I was taught to paint the light. But I already needed to tear up pieces of magazine paper to put together kind of imaginary puzzles that I covered with paint, like an interior landscape, like buried stories that I couldn't tell otherwise. I always did that, all the time. Painting is for me both a game and a language. I paint like one makes music.
