This collage is part of my second series, in which I chose to explore the emptiness of the U shape. My artistic approach revolves around the manipulation of materials, an act of observation where I become a spectator, entrusting the staging to the unpredictability and movement. My creative process thrives on the unexpected, giving rise to works where spontaneity engages with the material, creating a space where the artistic expression unfolds in the beauty of the unforeseen. With a background in fashion design studies, I spent two decades creating sculptural jewelry. In 2019, a U-shaped form stirred my inspiration, initiating a series of abstract collages, transforming my artistic journey. Each collage is an exploration, a new perspective of this U niverse through colors, emptiness, contours, clusters, dimensions and movement.

Several pieces of jewelry have been published in magazines and newspapers; EllE Québec, EllE Canada, Clin d'Oeil, Kill , Pure, Oui , Voir, VMM , La Presse, Le Devoir. ‘’Her amazing jewelry is worn like clothes. Hyper feminine, they spring from necks and wrists. They run along the curves of the body, underlining them. She does not sell gems but rather creations and a certain idea of individuality and elegance.’’ Cahier V , voir ''While dressing for dinner, choose something that feels as light as air: this divine feather necklace from Félixe Carole Dicaire will lift your spirits.'' EllE Canada ''Félixe Carole Dicaire's jewelry stands out because of its structures, which are inspired by the organic forms found in plants and insects. Her creations, both whimsical and high-end ''design'' accentuate sensuality, femininity, while arousing emotion and attention.'' LE BIJOUTIER magazine In 2018, Felixe Dicaire began reconnecting to other art forms again. That's when she stumbled upon her muse, a U shape. The simplicity, beauty and movement in this shape unconsciously appealed to her and led her to a multitude of possibilities for her découpage collage. She loves to work with colour, which has always been at the heart of her work. When making her jewelry, she used to dye her wires , which gave her more finesse and playfulness in the harmonization of tints and tones. Collage allows her to work with larger masses of colours, and gives her a sense of amplitude in her expression. FR Félixe Dicaire, né en 1971 dans la région d'Ottawa, vit maintenant à Montréal.
