ABOUT THE ARTWORK
Some of my abstract works are created with collage application of different materials, such as textiles and paint added on top to provide a mixed texture. This composition was made with a piece of a shirt glued to a wooden board. The title presented itself upon completion as to me the painted shapes suggest parts of a sail. The work is coated with epoxy resin giving it a shiny surface and reflects light in various combinations as you view it from different angles.
