ABOUT THE ARTWORK
One of a series of fifteen works using acrylic painted masking tapes which were then rearranged into an abstract collage on Canson Imagine fine-art paper. This theme evolved from my previous creative re-use of paint smeared masking tape strips saved after masking brush strokes on previous artworks, although in this series the tapes were painted on intentionally and then used in these examples for the first time… not ‘re-recycled’ as such.

Abstract artist... stock photographer... writer... plant-based... fixie-cyclist... minimalist... and easy going, I studied Interior Design at art college in the 1960s, then worked in the TV and film industry for more than a decade, before turning to photography full-time.
