About The Artwork
This piece is focusing on the eye, looking almost thorough all the negativity and turmoil around it. The ‘stitches’ around the eye represent humanities nature of ‘stitching things up’. Using collage, acrylics and ink the piece aims to have the viewer look deeper into he picture to discover things that are not obvious at first glance. My chosen medium is collage as I enjoy being able to get a deeper message across with words and pictures.
