ABOUT THE ARTWORK
When time is mine, I like to walk about the city and absorb all that I can see. I’m attracted to the many materials, forms and patterns surrounding me, especially the reflection of the sky, clouds and neighbouring buildings in glass curtain walls. I find affinity in modular shapes that repeat rhythmically. This 47.5 x 35 cm work on paper is framed using american black walnut wood, to echo and complement the reflective copper and black colours of the paper, and glazed using museum-quality glass. A split baton is provided to hang the work securely.
