ABOUT THE ARTWORK
A 12 piece collage painting on canvas. Some reoccurring themes in this series are zygote, strangling folks, laundry, buildings, teapots & crossword puzzles.. In my artistic practice I prefer an intuitive approach. Influenced by shape, color and rhythm I combine layer upon layer with drawings, magazine snippets & texts. This randomized method helps me get in a state of flow (stream of consciousness) and it works well with the fragmentary manner in which I paint my stories on canvas.
