Born in Lecce, I live and work in Florence since 2007. I paint bodies, monsters, black humor stuff, bizarre characters and tragicomic demons. My art is featured by high contrasts, sculptural figures and material colour, but at the same time it can be etheral and extremely visual. My oil on canvas paintings tell tales from below, they look into what lies lurking beneath the shadow line. I found a bottomless gorge which from I took every eyesore. The figures scream and laugh and their voices don't sounds like desperation. My art actually whispers words of hope and love for life and all creatures.
