Michael Martensen, born Michael Kratz, is a renowned German painter. He was inspired to become interested in architecture and art at a very early age by his grandfather Walter Kratz, a well-known architect. His uncle Benno Hauber, a respected German artist, also played an important role in Martensen's artistic development. Even in his early childhood, Hauber inspired him to paint and encouraged his creative abilities. Martensen decided to pursue his passion for painting and studied painting with Prof. Hanes Beier and Prof. Dr. Markus Lüpertz. During his studies he expanded his technical skills and developed his own style. Martensen's works are characterized by their vibrant colors and expressive brushstrokes. His paintings are often abstract and show a deep emotional connection to nature and the human condition. Through his art, he seeks to encourage viewers to reflect on their own existence and connect with the world around them. Martensen has already taken part in numerous exhibitions at home and abroad and his works have been presented in renowned galleries. His work has also won various awards and can be found in private collections around the world. As an established artist, Martensen is also committed to promoting young talent. He regularly gives workshops and teaches at art academies to pass on his experiences and knowledge. Michael Martensen is now a fixture in the German art scene and his works are valued by critics and collectors alike. His artistic journey is characterized by constant development and the pursuit of creative excellence.
