ABOUT THE ARTWORK
Feet Dangling in Space, Embellished Canvas Giclee, signed and numbered on the back. Certificate of authenticity signed by the artist. A muralist whose street name is Gaia was painting a mural as a tribute to another artist. He was from Baltimore and came to Atlanta to do the mural. I was talking to him as he painted and I noticed his colorful; painters pants and shoes dangling in space. I took a couple of shots and enhanced it. It was an October Day, leaves were still on the trees. Where he was painting was in partial shade. The sun was filtering through the trees making the shadows on the left. It was also Free Art Friday, where artists leave free art for people to find. I had made a mobile out of a place mat and glued on some of my photos with gold paint to both sides. Because of our interesting encounter I decided to leave it for him. I hung it on his scaffold and watched him paint and the mobile twirl. What do I want people to feel in looking at this image? Interest.

IF you are interested in a certain type of art look under my "COLLECTIONS". I do abstract painting, digital images, assemblage and collages. I am also interested in crypto and crypto art, namely Non Fungible Tokens (NFT) I think it is a new frontier. OpenSea.io/STEVE-P My process: I will "play" with an image, change color or placement, until I think things are just right and the image I end up with is "interesting". I also want the art work to be something that if I bought it I could stand in front of it and notice new things or have new thoughts about the piece at each viewing. In some of my pictures I want you, the viewer, to be sucked into them. I want it to be like you are in a building or museum and something is happening at the other end. You want to walk down the hall in order to get a closer look at the picture. That's one of my goals. Also I have many different things, enhanced photos, frames, paint around my studio with which I can combine images, colors or whatever is available at the time into something new. Many of my digital images are now embellished canvas giclees Limited Editions. I also have Limited Edition embellished prints. My artistic statement , "I want to see deeper and hear deeper".
