About The Artwork

This collection shows AI-generated robots, cyborgs, and androids in seamless motion. These images encapsulate the symbiotic relationship between human creativity and artificial intelligence, portraying intricate mechanics fused with lifelike mobility. From calculated gestures to fluid locomotion, each frame exemplifies the intricate design and speculative futures these entities inhabit. In these images technology blurs the boundaries of human and machine, offering a glimpse into a future crafted by lines of code and pixels.

I am Luxembourg-born scientific illustrator and artist living in Hanover, Germany. For a couple of decades I was a copywriter for Honeywell Bull, Nokia and Siemens. Then I slowly slipped into computer graphics. I specialized in illustrating molecules and fullerenes for a long time. In 1988 I received a recognition of the Prix Ars Electronica for my graphic "Funnel". In 2023 I started doing AI illustrations. I live together with my partner Elke Leger, my favorite photo subject, and a turtle named George.
