Honys Torres (Caracas, 1969) is a Venezuelan‑Swiss visual artist based in Zurich whose work blends neo‑pop aesthetics, digital collage, and critical iconography. Her practice transforms everyday symbols into sharp visual narratives about identity, migration, global politics, consumer culture, and collective memory. Known for her vibrant color language, humor, and precise visual construction, Torres creates modular compositions that function as contemporary cultural archives. Her work is held in major public collections, including the Museo de la Estampa y el Diseño Carlos Cruz‑Diez, the Museo de Arte Contemporáneo de Caracas, and the Museo Alejandro Otero. She is the winner of the 2025 Luisa Palacios Graphic Arts Prize at the Elsa Morales National Art Salon. Torres has exhibited widely across Switzerland, Germany, the United States, and Latin America, establishing a strong international presence.
