In this image, we witness a historic confrontation between two intellectual giants, Sir Isaac Newton and Albert Einstein. Newton, holding an apple in his right hand, represents his revolutionary theory of universal gravitation, while Einstein, displaying a tablet, presents his groundbreaking concept of spacetime curvature caused by massive objects. The intense argument captures their contrasting perspectives on gravity, with Newton emphasizing a force-based interpretation and Einstein unveiling the profound link between mass and spacetime geometry. This visual encapsulates the clash of ideas that shaped our understanding of gravity, showcasing the ongoing dialogue between past and future scientific luminaries.

Germany
I am Luxembourg-born scientific illustrator and artist living in Hanover, Germany. For a couple of decades I was a copywriter for Honeywell Bull, Nokia and Siemens. Then I slowly slipped into computer graphics. I specialized in illustrating molecules and fullerenes for a long time. In 1988 I received a recognition of the Prix Ars Electronica for my graphic "Funnel". In 2023 I started doing AI illustrations. I live together with my partner Elke Leger, my favorite photo subject, and a turtle named George.
