David Mew is an emerging, self-taught American contemporary artist. He was a New Futures award recipient and was handpicked by Saatchi Art to exhibit at The Other Art Fair. Born with a lifelong passion for art, he has honed his skills and vision across a variety of mediums and substrates over the years, and currently specializes in creating Geo-Surrealistic landscapes using generative and algorithmic art techniques. At the intersection of the Biomorphism and Techspressionism artistic movements, David’s landscapes reflect a distinct and fresh aesthetic. His artwork is printed on photographic paper and acrylic facemounted, dye sublimated on aluminum and other metals, constructed as light boxes, minted as NFTs, and digitally projected in site-specific installations.
