I am Elena Nisenblat - a visionary artist born in Moldova, now living between Morocco and Spain. My life has been a journey across continents and cultures. Born in Moldova - a small country at the crossroads of East and West I carried that sense of in-between worlds with me everywhere I went. I have travelled extensively - absorbing colours, faces, emotions, rituals and the invisible language that connects all human beings regardless of where they are born. Every country I visited left its mark not only in my passport but as an imprint on my soul and everything my soul absorbed eventually found its way onto my canvases. Every person I observed in a quiet moment somewhere in the world - became part of the living archive I paint from. For over two decades I have been painting what cannot be seen with ordinary eyes. My work explores the multiple faces we carry inside - the hidden voices, the suppressed emotions, the parallel identities that coexist within one human being. I am fascinated by what people show and what they conceal. By the face behind the face. Every painting in my world carries a numerical code. These codes are not titles - they are frequencies. Each number holds a specific vibration, a specific question, a specific answer that belongs only to the person who stops in front of that work. You do not choose the painting. The painting chooses you through its number. This is DECODENCE - where the subconscious speaks in colour, form and frequency. My work is created using oil, oil pastels, acrylics, pastels, conte crayon, charcoal and mixed media on paper and canvas. Each piece is original, hand-signed and one of a kind.
