ABOUT THE ARTWORK
Nazareth. This city is full of history. It's old buildings, streets, shops can tell a lot. I think it has a certain energy that has a big influence on every visitor. I am lucky to visit it every year and that for one reason. Every year the celebration of the 1st of May is held there. The day of workers is a big day for me since childhood. As a child, I enjoyed the celebration of this day very much. My Family and I participated in "procession" where people held big red flags, sang songs. Everyone was happy at that day. Today, only in Nazareth I can feel like a little girl again. This portrait of a young drummer was painted as an inspiration of the first May’s celebration in Nazareth in 2018.
