I am a 23 year old born in South Africa, studied design, art, architectural technology and currently studying fashion design. Creating a harmony in a paradox, tapping into religion and the spirit, beauty, pain and race. My work isn't typically drawn from another source that can be easily articulated, it's meant to evoke feelings, to have meaning but also make one ask what it means. My work is meant to give a deeper look into the contradictions, beauty, pain and religion of a person. Looking at what it would be like if the roles were reversed, if black white people treated white people the way they were treated. If races biases, practices and systems were reversed. Looking at history, the present and the future, my work is meant to reflect aspects I would consider timeless.
