ABOUT THE ARTWORK

Africa's Talent In her drawing titled Africa's Talent, the artist drew a pattern about talented people and their racial characteristics being envied by others. In this work, she referred to her own subconscious records of the phenomenon of people exploiting the talents and/or resources of those who are talented and valuable, rather than focusing on developing their own natural talents or natural resources. The artist wishes the valuable to be aware of their own limits and resources, to know and develop their values. Crafted with heartfelt strokes, this piece reflects a pulsating spirit and vibrant culture. The simplicity of the pen has breathed life into evocative forms, hinting at stories untold and honoring the essence of a rich heritage. It's a symphony of symbolic imagery that captivates and stirs the soul, infusing a dynamic energy into any space it adorns. '22 And 23 July Series' By Göknil Gümüş Sungurtekin These works emerged by likening the nature of love to "spring". July 22 was a summer day, but the artist in love secretly remembered it as a spring day. Because it was a time when she felt a spring-like love blossoming inside her. The works were carried out in this spirit. The night before her birthday, the artist depicted the emotional and psychological state she experienced that night with a developed astrological, educated and spiritual attitude, with emotional subconscious stories about love and life. And she continued this on July 23, her birthday. While these stories are expressions of the artist's own memories, some are also reflections from the subconscious and the collective pool. There are more works in the artist's collections in the Göknil Gümüş Sungurtekin's ''22 And 23 July Series'' that it can accompany this work and create your own unique mural! This work is also in the series and you can choose your own special pieces from this series now.
