About The Artwork
I have actually never seen a mountain lion but I am fascinated by the fact they actually exist and literally in my little town of Stevenson, WA. This year I was compelled to do a drawing of them as they were coming up in the news as being problematic in the area. An old logging road I was just starting to hike every day had become a place locals told me to avoid. I respect that we all share this wilderness so I am educating myself on these beauties and this piece is a nod to that mutual appreciation.
