Jacob Angeles, Begins doing illustration and concept art for cinema in Mexico City where he currently resides. Through processes of image accumulation, it creates a densely saturated visual language in which classical art, images from the internet, cinema, collage, pop culture and themes related to digital and analog media make them become a reflection on the ways we consume visual information. A collision between an analog past and a digitized future. To achieve the desired effect in his work, he uses software where he manipulates the images of his projects, which can then be translated into paintings, illustrations or collages, giving materiality to what is happening in the digital world. The diverse applications of his work are linked by the intersection of technology and fine arts.
