Series of charcoals on paper realized in occasion of the exhibition "Quel che é stato, é, sarà" , Naples Palazzo Fondi June 2019 Raffaello Eroico is in constant search of a balance between classical art, digital arts and contemporary art. He thus gives us a figuration in which matter has a central place, and manages to harmonize the austerity of the classical and the formal innovation of modernism, for an undeniably original contemporary result A visual semiotics so intense to reveal the intellectual will of Rafferoico to dialogue with the great tradition of the past through a renewed expressionistic language, deep in the search for light and color, in which the bodies and faces of the portrayed figures and the landscapes represent a constant attempt of the artist to generate a new classicism, a dimension without space and without time. visual research figurative expressionism balance original composition photographic approach figurative insight reinventing tradition classical dialogue austere composition visual intuition baroque influence energetic disenchanted painting as a 6x6 former photographer never painted twice the same frontal visual glamour luxury mind passion intuition visuelle reinventing modernism Exploring visual art as an endless sensual adventure

"Exploring visual art as an endless sensual adventure" born in Naples - Italy lives and works in Toulouse - France "Raffaello Eroico's work stems from his professional experiences in graphic design, photography, and industrial design. The language he developed in practicing these disciplines has been transposed into a purely artistic research framework, aiming to renew tradition with a contemporary perspective by surpassing conceptual approaches. His approach focuses on radical elements and is restricted to the elementary means of drawing and painting. His practice places figuration at the center, allowing him to interpret the classical heritage in an original and contemporary manner, particularly influenced by Baroque painting due to his Neapolitan origins. His works are distinguished by their power and the instinct of decisive gestures, as well as by a vibrant material, decidedly expressionist. However, this energy is expressed in a tempered chromatic harmony, structured by a composition rigor inspired by the practice of photographic framing. These images, conceived intuitively, present consistently varied iconographic solutions and testify to a free, adventurous search, yet always marked by a stylistic coherence in continuous evolution.".
