About The Artwork
Watching the carmine bee eaters in October is one of the biggest treats in Luangwa Valley, they fly so fast, whizzing in and out of their holes in the bank wall, feeding their young and watching out for the monitor lizards which are a constant threat and its all non stop action! Willliam Kentridge did a drawing of doves on paper and I was inspired by this, which made me choose as similar idea but with bee eaters.
