ABOUT THE ARTWORK
I wanted to draw someone who is meditating. When I had finished the drawing, I noticed two blue birds, one sitting on each side of her. And if you look closely, in the darkness around her something is moving. It seems to me, it is the movement of birds' wings through the night. To me, this drawing expresses the inner state of calm, stillness, yet movement, light and transparency.
