About The Artwork

Cheyenne was a Fierce Pawnee Warrior who lived in the High Plains of Nebraska and Kansas along the Platte River from before the 16th century to the latter part of the 19th century. The Pawnee tribe refer themselves as the Chatiks "Men of Men." The inspiration for this piece was my interest in history and my Native American Ancestry. I hope this warrior inspires others about the rich history and beauty of the Native American Indian culture. I chose a style of both ultra realism and fantasy in a unique and diverse way.
