ABOUT THE ARTWORK
"Church" is a drawing inspired by one of the churches in Russia. It has unique architecture with unusual blue colors of walls, and gorgeous stucco. From the outside it looked like regular church, but when I came inside I was shocked by it's beauty. Bright splashes of light on a ground and woman who was praying with blue head scarf, inspired me to capture this moment. And the best material option for me was pastel on toned paper.
