An abstract nude and erotic photographer, Danielle.J has been popular with a number of Japanese collectors with many commissioning controversial projects in Art and Fashion. Danielle. J is commonly known for throwing censorship out the window, focusing on an incredibly vulnerable raw human form. Feminism and homosexuality is a substantial subject presented in the work and women are the central subjects. A number of later collections include red marker lines and heat burns to add contrast, highlighting the distrust and modern hate we have towards our bodies, a result of social comparison, judgement and conformity. 2014 - 2018 Polaroid’s have been exhibited in Tokyo and New York, with many directed and commissioned by Private Galleries. Works are stamped with a black ink thumbprint on the rear, showing a unique scar and authenticating the originality.
