“My paintings belong to expressionism with a tendency towards realism.” When one experiences my work, they can immediately sense my deep love for color, motion, and light. Through my paintings, I seek to explore the various tensions and contradictions that arise between light, color, space, and density. Over the past fifteen years, my artistic focus has centered on anthropocentric themes, where I strive to create an expressionistic atmosphere in abstract ways. My creative process is constantly nourished by my engagement with contemporary artistic practices, the study of art history, and continuous experimentation. Through these, I aim to deepen and liberate my sense of design, touch, and color. My paintings belong to the field of Expressionism, with a tendency toward Realism. Each of my works is an inner exploration of the self—whether conscious or subconscious. I was born, live, and work in Loutraki, Korinthia, Greece. I am a graduate of the Department of Fine Arts at the University of Western Macedonia in Florina, Greece, where I also completed my Master’s degree in Painting. I hold a postgraduate diploma from the Department of Social Studies in Cultural Unit Management of the Hellenic Open University and am currently pursuing a PhD at the University of West Attica, in the School of Applied Arts and Culture. I have participated in numerous international art fairs, as well as solo and group exhibitions in Greece and abroad. My artworks can be found in both public and private collections. Throughout my career, I have worked as an art teacher at all levels of public and private education. In my atelier and painting workshop, EPsilon Art Studio, students of all ages learn and practice painting. In 2011, I founded EPsilon Art Gallery, where I curate and organize exhibitions—solo, group, and international—featuring both Greek and foreign artists, mainly from the fields of painting and sculpture. I regularly take part as a speaker and organizer in artistic events, workshops, and festivals, both of charitable and non-charitable nature. I am also a member of the Panhellenic Association of Art Galleries (PSAT). Every two to three years, I present a new body of work based on a different thematic concept. My creative process begins with designing a subject that interests me. Color plays a dominant role in my work.
