Since 7 years, I have the chance every year to browse Japan from side to side for signings events. These discoveries taught me a lot and transformed. Since 2 years, I mature a new axis. This paper ends up looking like a pattern or even textile. My maternal grandmother was a seamstress, she made men's shirts and my paternal grandparents sold fabric. I did not make the connection right away but the loop is complete. My work is done on Japanese papers, folded, dyed, glued on which are drawn kimonos, haoris or Thonet armchairs, Luxembourg. Here is a Daruma, japanese lucky charm. When you buy it, there is no eye. Make a wish, draw left eye and the other one after wish come true.
