David vs. Goliath Drawing

I am grateful to make my artwork to collectors who appreciate the value of original works of art. Obsessed with art from the age of 4, I remember picking up a crayon with my left hand and loving the process of coloring the thin gray pages of my first coloring book. I feel the beauty of this world by immersion in nature and frequently visiting art museums to energetically absorb the greatness of previous artists from all genres and eras. Driven by a love of country and the ephemeral quality of this precious life, I began to illustrate portraits of those I wanted to honor. With heroes such as Emerson, Thoreau, Socrates, and the writings of C.S. Lewis, I began to protect and harness the inner voice that urged the following of one’s own path. Years of intense study of art history combined with art training have produced numerous portraits that honor my "why": Tenacity, hard work, honor, and excellence, These core values are infused into every project I undertake.
