Deconstructed Nude Drawing

Standing women, using charcoal, ink, pencil, acrylic etc. I soaked this drawing in the bath and then reconstructed the paper; pulling layers away to reveal the colour beneath whilst adding paint where the work was telling me. If I am beginning to get frustrated I do sometimes "wash" my pieces and work against what remains. This process terminates the labouring process and prevents me from being precious about a piece. It often results in a more interesting and authentic outcome. Beautifully framed and glazed to museum quality standards.
