ABOUT THE ARTWORK

The work is part of the triptych "Dialogues" and is performed on a hardboard tablet . What would cities look like if all the people suddenly disappeared ? Surely each of us at least once thought about it , and maybe dreamed of being in such a reality . There is something incredibly attractive, magical in such an empty world - a world without the sounds of everyday life, without voices, footsteps, moving shadows … But such a reality has come, and until now we can not believe in the present, which until recently was only a fiction. The streets of cities, parks, museums, all the places that were created by man for man-everything is empty . People disappeared and it was like being in one of Ray Bradbury's fantasy stories. Even before the events that changed our usual world, I managed to visit the "eternal" Rome , a city in which life has not stopped for several thousand years, which every day passes through a huge flow of people and which keeps within its walls the traces of many wars and diseases .At that moment , there were no obvious prerequisites for future events, there was only a slight premonition of something unclear, which was dissolved in the bright rays of the spring sun. On one of these days, I went to the National Museum of Rome, and that morning I was the only visitor . Once in the deserted halls, at one with the most ancient monuments of antiquity, I thought how organic and beautiful this space is without people , and most importantly it is not lifeless . In these deserted halls, the sculptures exist in their own world, in a world that man himself has created for them. It even seemed to me that there are certain dialogues between them and they do not need viewers who make a fuss in their existence . The sculpture, being in a comfortable space for itself , became self-sufficient and alive . This is the feeling I wanted to convey in my triptych "Dialogues", immersing the viewer in the atmosphere of an ancient museum .

I was born in Moscow in a family of artists . From early childhood I showed an active interest in drawing . My parents noticed my interest in fine arts and they began to engage with me professionally.later I graduated from the Art Lyceum and the Surikov Art Academic Institute in Moscow My art isn`t constrained by just one theme. My any new painting or series of painting are dedicated to a different themes and in general they are not related to a previous painting or series of painting . A main sources of inspiration for my art are a world history of art and a space around myself. Particularly, I get an inspiration from the idea of the human`s communication with different environments. In general a real perception , directs a theme of paintings , changes and transformates to a thought of the author reflected on a paint . Quoting and references to great works of other artists or inspiring ages are not the last part of my art. A process of research of any great age creates a connection , a thin thread between past and and a future spaces and environments related to a human . This connection can be a serios dialog or a small talk. In this way my work on projects is based on a living impression and the theme it has developed.
