About The Artwork
Part of an ongoing bird series titled 'Big Year'. For every month of 2018 I drew a picture of a bird from the country I was visiting, this bird was for Februray. The 'Doctor Bird' is indigenous spiecies to Jamaica the only bird in the wolrd to have this type of iridescent feathers. It is the national bird of the country.
