Hey fellow art lovers! Thank you sincerely for visiting my profile! I am 23 years old from Napa Valley California. I have been drawing, doodling and scribbling since I can remember. I come from a family of musical and visual artists. Influenced at a very young age by father's paintings and music and my mother's Arabic calligraphy and intricate Middle-Eastern style borders, it was almost inevitable that I would follow suit. Although, It wasn't until about seven months ago that I decided to dive into my work head first and start developing a style worth sharing. At that time I had quit my job of over five years due to chronic panic attacks and fell into a very deep depression. As cliche as it may sound, art saved me. It was the only thing I had left at the time. I started with small sketches everyday just to keep my mind busy and over a short period of time my passion and obsession grew more rapidly than ever. More importantly so did my happiness and sense of self-worth. Even as a child art was my mental and emotional escape. What I create has always been a reflection of my perspective of humanity and my dreams of love, compassion, acceptance and a world of deep connection between human beings, family and strangers a like. I want people to relate to my drawings. To feel drawn into the faces of humanity, of our world. Our ability to love, honor, admire, teach, and support one another is detrimental to our quality of life. I hope that my art portrays that vision. I am completely self-taught and have yet to take any art classes which makes it a challenge to step outside my comfort zone. As far as medium goes I have always stuck with pencil or charcoal, black and white sketches. I just recently started experimenting with light water color background in order to give the pictures more life! Thank you again for visiting my profile. Enjoy!
