Anastasiya Grik was born in 1985 in Kemerovo. Now she lives and works in St. Petersburg. Anastasiya is a self-taught artist. In 2020, she discovered the direction of interior painting, which gave impetus to further development. It became a synthesis of all Anastasiya's hobbies (painting, design, decoration). The artist works in different techniques, but most often she chooses a mixed one. The main materials used in creativity are acrylic, Plaster, gold leaf, alcohol ink, textiles, paper. The choice of materials directly depends on the idea that the artist wants to realize. Anastasiya draws her ideas from nature, music, cinema, and everyday life. “Inspiration can be everything that touches my soul.” In her work, Anastasiya touches on the themes of femininity, harmony, naturalness, joy of life, and fantasy. “I am a person of extremes, which is reflected in my paintings. They can be bright, expressive, created in liquid technique. In such artworks, it is not the meaning that is important, but the ability to contemplate the intricate effects of the image. Or they can be minimalistic, achromatic, suggestive. The main thing that unites most of my artworks is volume and texture! Paintings become tactile, alive. A hand reaches out to them, and the eyes seek to explore every corner of the image.
