About The Artwork
Furiously drumming fingers create agitated air waves, (external) from their tips to her busily mischief devising network, brain waves, (internal) so they become at one. The strata-like rock formation, encased in these vibrating rhythms suggest the weight taken on the reclining upper body, whilst the other hand softly taps the upper thigh as it appears to be slowly, and, possibly, more controlling, of the situation that is about to ensue. The skeletal passage beneath the supporting leg, continuing downwards to become ''earthed,'' suggests a satisfied solution. This cyclic activity from the wavy (moving), through the static (black) down to the organised consciousness, is the perfect analogy for mischief making.
