Camille Charnay was born in 1994 in the South-West of France. She lives and works in between St-Cirq-Lapopie and Toulouse. Through an exploratory practice that brings together fine arts and botany, her research questions our relationship with the living, and especially with plants. Using techniques such as microscopy and specific approaches borrowed from biology, she tackles questions of perception and representation that tell us about our relationship with plants. She uses several mediums including graphite drawing, watercolour, indian ink, coloured pencils, etc
