About The Artwork
The painting took 3rd place in the competition “Paintings, that celebrates black art”! And also 3rd place in the FAA "Art of Africa" contest. The work and its review are published on "We are Mammoth Art and Culture" I have always been attracted by the bright outfits of African women, the art and landscapes of Africa. I lived in Egypt for 3 years, I was surrounded by shades of ocher and brown, it was here that I saw live African women in their colorful dresses. And I really wanted to draw them. Inspired by what I saw, I drew this portrait. This drawing started my series of drawings "Africa"

My name is Yevgeniya (Eugenie - it’s that's the french version of my name ) I’m from Ukraine. I was born in Odessa where did I get my art education in K. D. Ushinsky South Ukrainian National Pedagogical University. I am inspired by nature and people, and traveling gives me new impressions, strength and ideas. For more than 4 years, I have been able to combine my two passions - drawing and traveling. When I paint portraits, landscapes or plants, it seems to me that I am reflecting frozen Time. After all, tomorrow everything can be different. Each of my works is for me an opportunity to mentally return to this already different place, space and feel the feelings experienced again. Each of my sketches or paintings allows you to see something that has already disappeared or has become different... My paintings now live in private collections in Ukraine, Germany, USA ,Norway, France, South Korea and Thailand.
