This small work is the cycle of Seismic Works. Strong emotions and fear had during the earthquake in May 2012 in Ferrara, are reinterpreted through the houses of the city, their tremor, instability, nothing is more firm. Everything is shaking, trembling and heart beats. I chose to use the old stamps as they are, par excellence, the most "stop" may be, different from calligraphy and the sign, involving more than one intimacy and emotional, personal. It also shakes. The stamp, the stability of the sign, a sign of pre-established and repeatable, is shaken. The earth trembles and shakes the heart Ferrara.

I was born in the West, too early. What make beautiful and important this historical period that I ‘ve lived until this moment are three events:having studied painting at the Academy of Fine Arts in Rome with Enzo Brunori, some moments of happiness and the tenderness of my lovely dog. My poetry is founded on the words of Aristotele: "The whole is greater than the sum of its parts." And it is totalitarian. I often you are what you do and you do what you are. I painted many cities and maps (the same city, Ferrara beautiful, timeless, metaphysical, silent, magical) and animals and landscapes. I explore the absence, loss, emptiness. I consider the single man without putting him on the scene. My themes are nature and culture. Art is my job. I owe a lot to William Shakespeare. I paint my work on both the front and the back. The back is to me as the intimate and everyday life, things that are not seen but they belong to the whole life. And it's like to have to deal with the invisible. So art is one with life, and life is one with the art.
