About The Artwork
Visiting my friend in Goa, India, I saw she had two lovely and definite books on Frida Kahlo, the Mexican Painter, whom I admire greatly. I had recently started working in charcoal. So, I did a drawing of one of Frida's huipil's. I like the way it turned out. I'd like the viewers to feel the texture of the embroidery in the huipil.
