About The Artwork

The Gates of Hell by Auguste Rodin Inspired me to make this work. I made a contemporary version of Rodin's Gates of Hell that more reflects reality. By doing so I try to lay bare the similarities between katholic religion in the 1800's and Kapitalism now. I hope the viewers will stop buying unnecessary shit. I know this sounds ironic coming from an artist trying to sell this work online but heck...here I am. I choose Drawing for almost all my works from the last 7 years as a contrast to the transient context of the digital landscape we inhabit nowadays
