Her background in both STEM and the visual arts informs her work, which draws inspiration from two distinct yet complementary sources. The first is the numerical precision that reflects the underlying symmetry of the universe's musical patterns. The second is the dynamic interplay of lines, shapes, and colors that imprint this music and convey it to the viewer in an expressive manner. Yulia's artworks are inspired by reflections on the eternity and transience of life, the theme of death and rebirth in the memories of history. She is also inspired by quite ordinary objects: faces, images, shadows on the mouldy studio walls, animals whose existence we don't even pay attention to when we are busy doing our own thing, changing landscapes and abstract forms of states and feelings of the soul that are captured in memory - everything that comes and goes in the canvas of life, remaining only in memories that sometimes obsessively emerge to sink into oblivion again. Reflection in many styles of the moments that accompany the life story of each of us and the artist himself. Absolutely different objects, chaotically collected in memory and captured on paper in styles ranging from realism to abstraction and impressionism. The chaos that shapes our lives in order to capture them in the streams of eternity after crossing the last line of our allotted time. And also the pedestals that remain to contemplate eternity after us - cold stones and bones, like sculptures made by the skilful hand of some forgotten master, proudly towering above the modest everyday bustle of impermanent transient images that kaleidoscope to replace each other in our lives.
