Tanya Dim. [Tanya Dimitrova] is a bulgarian artist [born June 1993] basen in Thessaloniki /Greece,where she lives and works.Working on many project under the patron of Sophia Spathi (Georgia) in different styles mostly folk art in her studio and art gallery. Her work is noted for its intensity , bright sometimes bold colors, expressive line and great knowledge of body anatomy . Most of her works are figurative compositions,portraits and landscapes in different styles,materials and techniques. ''What inspires me in art is rich color palettes ,body shapes in different poses ,both male and female ,endless use of imagination and and beauty in all its kinds.Most of my works are in style expressionism but I do admire Art deco Art Nouveau and Illustrations with their decorative lines and harmonic color range .Also I've been producing many landscapes with palette knife known with their rich colors and sense of melancholy . In my works I am trying to unite both tradition and inovation , I admire classic art but also contemporary. I trust in both canons and modern waves . In my work I am looking for deeper meaning,even when I paint something seemingly simple.I start learning art when I was 13 [Private lessons in Tamara Milenkova's Studio]and after that at the age of 14 I was accepted in ''Tsanko Lavrenov''National High School of Arts where I have learn art for total of five years three of which in specialty mural art . Most of my older works are thematic inspired by the way of creating mural art projects with great attention to detail and construction.As an artist I have participated in many group projects in technique mosaic and mural art .I love both painting and drawing while trying to save the simplicyti of the original intent. For the past few years i rediscovered for my self Impressionism , Expressionism , Abstract art , Abstract expressionism and Neo-expressionism and build a strong admiration about those art styles and their representatives. Some of my favoutire artists are Egon Schiele,Claude Monet ,Eduard Manet , P.A. Renoir , Alphonce Mucha,Rene Gruau and more. I have many different interests in art and every time I am starting a project I am trying to present something new but still keeping my sign.I choose topics to work led by my inner sense and my mental state.
