ABOUT THE ARTWORK

This captivating piece showcases a dynamic and abstract portrayal of two dancers lost in the passionate embrace of a tango. The figures, rendered in a striking combination of black, white, and subtle red tones, are depicted through a series of geometric shapes and sharp lines, giving the artwork a sense of movement and intensity. The contrast between the bold, dark forms of the dancers and the light, almost ethereal background creates a dramatic visual effect. The intricate details of their intertwined limbs and the fluidity of their movements are captured with precision, highlighting the elegance and complexity of the dance. Hints of red add a touch of warmth and emotion to the otherwise monochromatic palette, emphasizing the passion and intensity of the tango. The abstract style and fragmented lines evoke a sense of modernity and sophistication, making this painting a striking and thought-provoking piece. This artwork beautifully captures the essence of tango, blending the sensuality of the dance with the artist's unique, contemporary style. It invites viewers to feel the rhythm and intensity of the moment, celebrating the beauty of movement and human connection.

My name is Nadia Bedei, I am an artist. I have been drawing all my life, I am a member of the International Association of Pastel Societies (IAPS). I work in the genres of portrait and landscape. Most of my work is done in pastels. I chose pastel, it is ideal for me: a combination of the tenderness of the material and the power of possibilities. I use only high quality professional pigments and a foundation that allow my creations to last for centuries. I like to paint light and movement in all their variety. I work mainly in my studio in Buenos Aires, transferring the impressions of what I saw to the picture and reflecting subtle nuances, creating a unique impression in my works.throughout life, depending on what or who we encounter. For me, at the moment, it was formed from observing the change of light and the plasticity of movements. I love the sea and mountains very much, there are many of them in my landscapes. At the same time, I like to portray the immediacy of animals or the characteristics of people.
