My studio practice explores both representational and abstract art. The two positions exist in parallel or synthesize into new forms. I am currently working on a project called INTERPRETATION. In this project, I use a pen and ink to create a series of drawings composed of horizontal stripes. The drawings are inspired by old masters such as Michelangelo or Bernini and transform their artworks into modern, contemporary drawings. My drawings are deconstruction and transformation of classics into 21st century perspective. Another project I have recently started explores Cyanotype technique that I use to create collages and prints inspired by history of art, floral motifs and all sorts of other visual elements.
