ABOUT THE ARTWORK
I drew this to capture the interesting pattern of light on her nose and cheek. I created this drawing using the technique of brushing a mixture of alcohol and charcoal powder onto the paper, then removing or adding charcoal to slowly bring out facial features. This drawing is 10" wide by 14" tall. I used Koh-I-Noor Heavy Drawing paper, which is bright white, 185 GSM, and acid-free.
