About The Artwork
I like books and I always wanted to write the story of my life – what would it be about? I would be "All About Love", of course! Since I was a child, I red books about love. As a teenager "I found love, love found me". I red book about "Love and Other Short Stories", I devoured them all, one after the other. I learned all famous love poems by heart, when I watched movies, strongly emphasizing with couples whose love was forbidden or criticized. "My Heart, the Advocate of Love" is what it became. I stood up from the audience and shouted: "Love – Any Objections?" Throughout my life I was instrumental in turning "Law and Disorder" into "Love & Order". And if I ever lost a case, I said to myself: "After Love - Love, what else?" Viola Winokan P.S.: The titles marked with "..." in the text are all titles of drawings from the same series.
