About The Artwork
On a sunny summer day I met this wonderful butterfly and took a photo. Winter is coming and I wanted warmth and bright colors and and I drew this work with pastels. Pastel on velvet paper helped me convey the natural velvet texture of this butterfly *Peacock eye*. This work won first place on "Russian Art Week" International Art Exhibition, March 2022, Moscow, Russia and participated in- International Art of Alanya Exhibition, November 2022.
